President Bola Tinubu has expressed heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, over the tragic passing of her daughter, Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi.
In a statement issued on Friday, March 28, and signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described the loss as both unexpected and heartbreaking, offering his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family.
“In a poignant conversation with the grieving mother on Thursday, President Tinubu conveyed his sincere condolences, acknowledging the sudden and heart-wrenching departure of a cherished daughter, devoted wife, and mother of three,” the statement read.
The President further extended his prayers and support to Mrs. Kola-Daisi’s husband, family, friends, and associates. He remembered the deceased as a warm-hearted, industrious, and charitable individual who touched many lives.
Tinubu highlighted Mrs. Kola-Daisi’s remarkable achievements as a successful businesswoman and a trusted public servant.
The president noted that her contributions, particularly her invaluable counsel on budgeting and finance, left a significant impact.
“Her wise counsel in budgeting and finance was invaluable,” the statement added.
President Tinubu prayed for divine comfort and strength for the grieving family, while asking Almighty God to grant Mrs. Kola-Daisi eternal rest.
“The President prayed for Almighty God’s grace to receive her soul and provide comfort and strength to her survivors,” Onanuga stated.
The passing of Mrs. Kola-Daisi, who until her death served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, has sparked an outpouring of condolences from family, friends, and political associates, many of whom have described her as a compassionate leader and dedicated professional.
