Nigerians have expressed their anger and surprise at the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Remi Tinubu, as she unveiled the “national unity fabric.

The Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) chaired by the First Lady, organised a OneNigeria/UnityFabric competition in February 2024. The RHI called on youths to create a design that would represent Nigeria’s unity and the winner of the competition was announced on Monday, September 16.

The winner, Miss Mofinyinfoluwa Bamidele, a 25-year-old graduate of the University of Ibadan, designed the fabric unveiled by the First Lady and also won the N25 million grand prize in the competition.

Senator Remi Tinubu disclosed that she came across the concept of a national fabric when she visited Zimbabwe and that the new national fabric would be worn across the country to celebrate the Independence Day Anniversary on October 1, 2024.

She said the project aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, fostering creativity, supporting local enterprises, and celebrating national identity and unity of the nation as it moves forward.

Her husband, Tinubu Bola, has already " UNITED US" by hunger, anger, and furry on account if his glaring decimal failures. Majority Nigerians are "UNITED" by their prayers, wishes, and desires to witness an early exit of Tinubu from our political platform howsoever. We are also "UNITED" by insecurity, diseases, decays, and uncertainties as we watch nepotism, despotism, fraud, and tribalism becoming  a norm, habit, culture, and trademark. "UNITY" FABRIC :    BACK TO SENDER”
