The Edo State Police Command has arrested one Timothy Dauda, a 19-year-old native doctor for allegedly killing his client, Alex Ezekiel, while testing out bulletproof charms. 

The incident, according to the Daily Post, occurred in Onumu community in the Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of the state on August 20. 

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Moses Joel Yamu, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, September 2. The victim, Alex Ezekiel had approached the suspect for a bulletproof charm and after the self-acclaimed native doctor had prepared the charm, he tried to test it out on the client by shooting him. Unfortunately, the client sustained fatal injuries and was rushed to a hospital where he was certified dead. 

The statement reads in part: “One Alex Ezekiel ‘m’ now deceased, went to the “native doctor” to get the charms prepared for him.

“After preparing the charms, the native doctor tried to test the efficacy of the charm by shooting the deceased with a gun.

“Unfortunately, the deceased sustained fatal injuries and was rushed to Ifejola Hospital, Igarra, where he was certified dead by a medical Doctor.

“The suspect will face prosecution as soon as the investigation is concluded.”

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that the Lagos State Police Command arrested a nurse following the death of a 36-year-old woman identified as Abiola during a Brazillian Butt Lift procedure at a clinic in the state. 

According to reports, Abiola had gone to the hospital with her driver for the procedure at a hospital in Lekki Phase 1 on Monday, August 26. 

Upon getting to the hospital, the nurse administered an injection to the woman at the direction of the clinic’s doctor and shortly after receiving the injection, she lost consciousness and began gasping for breath.
