In celebration of International Women's Day, Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has partnered with AltSchool Africa to support women in tech through a scholarship program. 

Announcing the initiative on his Instagram page, Falz revealed plans to offer full scholarships to 20 women, allowing them to study tech courses of their choice, including Engineering, Product, and Data.

Interested applicants are required to register through a provided link and make a compelling case for their selection.

The beneficiaries of the scholarship program will be announced on Saturday, March 8, 2025, which marks International Women's Day.

The artiste wrote,

For this year's International Women's Day, and in collaboration with @AltSchoolAfrica I will be offering full scholarships to 20 women to study tech courses in any area of choice, including Engineering, Product and Data..”

Falz's post has garnered widespread reactions from his fans who praised his commitment to bridging the gender gap in tech and empowering women to pursue. However, some have expressed reservations about the platform.

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that prominent rapper and singer Falz recently revealed why he has never fallen in love. 

During an interview, Falz opened up that he has never reached the point of expressing love in a relationship. 

To him, there has to be a level of preparedness before all that emotional commitment would take place.
