Renowned singer and songwriter Douglas Agu, known as Runtown, is set to make a comeback with a new single on Thursday, November 21.
The 35-year-old singer has been absent from the Nigerian music scene for two years since his last 12-track album, Signs, was released in December 2022.
49th Street announced the news to anticipated fans in an X (formerly Twitter) post on Thursday, November 21.
“Runtown will release new music tonight. Soundgod is back!” it wrote.
Runtown blends a fusion of Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B and reggae. He is popularly known for his hits like Mad Over You, a 2016 track that got him international recognition across the world.
His new single, whose title is yet to be disclosed, will be released on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
