Popular Nigerian comedian-turned-singer, Nasiru Lawal, popularly known as Nasboi, has released a new Extended Play (EP) titled In Nasboi I Trust (I.N.I.T). 

The newly released music project, featuring popular singers 2Baba, Falz, Wande Coal and Chike, dropped oN Thursday, September 19, to the listening pleasure of anticipating fans. 

Via his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Nasboi shared his new EP and link for fans to access the music project. 

Following the release of his new music project, netizens have shared their first listen thoughts across social media, particularly hailing his consistency as a creative. 

Meanwhile, Prior to the release of the album, Veteran comedian AY Makun via his Instagram page had lauded Nasboi's listening party and hailed his passion for music. 

Every track showcased your incredible talent and creativity, and it was inspiring to hear the stories behind them. The passion you put into your work truly shines through, and it's clear that this album is a labour of love,” AY wrote.

Nasboi: 6 copyright infringement accusations in Nigerian music industry 

Earlier, TheRadar reported that Veteran Nigerian singer Friday Igweh, popularly known as Baba Fryo, called out Nasboi over copyright infringement. 

Baba Fryo alleged that Nasboi copied part of his lyrics on Denge Pose, which was infused into Nasboi’s latest song, Short Skirt. This prompted a highlight of six copyright infringement accusations in the Nigerian music industry.
