Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay, formerly married to music star Innocent Idibia, has spoken about her life after their highly publicised separation.
In a recent interview at the 17th edition of the Headies Awards with BBC, Annie emphasised that her children, Isabella and Olivia Idibia, are her backbone and top priority.
She revealed that one of her daughters is currently studying abroad and expressed her dedication to their well-being.
She stated,
"My family is fine, my children are great. My first daughter is currently abroad schooling and you can't play with that girl, you can't even joke with my children because they are my back bone."
Annie also shared her future plans, announcing the upcoming launch of her own TV station, Annie Macaulay TV, where she aims to explore various opportunities and share her thoughts with a wider audience.
She continued,
“Right now, I am working on my TV station. My own online TV station, which is the Annie Macaulay TV station. So be ready for different things.
“As it is, my daughters have done an 11 episode series that will air on Annie Macaulay TV very soon."

Also, during the Headies Awards, Annie made headlines when she corrected a fan who referred to her as "Annie Idibia," instead insisting on being called "Annie Macaulay," reflecting her status as a single woman.

“My name is Annie Idi—oh, I’m sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hello, unmarried women!”
This comes one day after 2Baba Idibia presented his mother to his fiancée, Natasha Osawaru.
