Renowned Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about his personal life, healing journey and renewed commitment to his marriage.

In an interview on The Breakfast Club podcast, the Afrobeats star declared that he is done with cheating and is fully embracing monogamy.

"I'm not cheating again. I don't want wahala, I don't want any wahala. I have five kids with four women, I'd rather go and live with how my other guys are living,” he said

Davido, who is married to Chioma Rowland, shared that he has learned a lot from past experiences and no longer sees polygamy as a path for himself.

According to him, even wealthy relatives with multiple wives still face relationship challenges, which he’s determined to avoid.

“Maybe because I've had bad experiences. Sometimes, experience is the best teacher,” he added.

When asked whether he would consider marrying another woman legally, his answer was firm: “No.”

Speaking honestly about how fame has affected his relationships, the Afrobeats artiste reflected on his earlier years in the spotlight. He admitted that during the peak of his career, dealing with women and relationship drama took a toll on him.

"Women have dealt with me in my career. I have been at the highest of the highest, the best time is when there's no problem at home," he said.

The conversation also touched on a deeply emotional chapter of his life, the loss of his son. Davido opened up about how family became his backbone during that heartbreaking period. Growing up in a large extended family, he’s always had strong family ties, and during the toughest moments, that closeness became a source of strength.

"Kudos to my father, my dad you know, stepped in. He put everything on pause, his businesses, to make sure that we were OK,” he said.

He also expressed gratitude for the blessing of twins, a boy and a girl, revealing that the boy reminds him so much of his late son.

“We have twins now, you know? A boy and a girl, and the boy looks exactly like my son that passed away. Acts the same way, does everything he used to do," Davido stated.

This interview has garnered widespread reactions from his fans; while some hailed the artiste, others have expressed excitement about his declaration
