Big Brother Naija housemates, Wanni, Handi, Shaun and Kassia have been issued astrike each for conspiracy in the ongoing reality TV show.
After the Head of House challenge on Monday, September 16, the housemates had deliberated how much they were going to wager for their eighth weekly wager when Big Brother asked the housemates to watch a clip.
In the clip, Kassia had a quick conversation with Wanni after the Sunday Live eviction show that she will not be nominating Onyeka because she wants the drama between them to continue. She also made reference to Rhuthee and said if Rhuthee had not been evicted, the drama would have continued. They then moved on to continue the conversation where Shaun and Handi were seating.
Big Brother had told the housemates that discussing nominations and conspiring among housemates are prohibited. He then announced that Wanni, Skaun, Kassia and Handi violated the rules and therefore issued them the strikes. He also mentioned that if they get two more strikes, they will be disqualified from the show.
Fans react to the strikes
Many fans thought the strikes were unnecessary and erroneously thought they got them for conspiring against Rhuthee. While some people believe Onyeka was vindicated, others think Shaun and Handi should not have been given strikes as they were not involved in the conversation but were only present when it happened. Some fans also called out the organisers of the show for not punishing other housemates who also conspired and discussed nominations.

BBNaija Season 9 Update: Ben and Chizoba evicted
Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that Ben and Chizoba were evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 9, No Loose Guard edition. Ben and Chizoba were among the nominated housemates for week seven and were evicted on Sunday, September 15.
The result of the votes by viewers revealed the three housemates with the lowest votes. Sooj got 8.33 per cent, Ben got 7.43 per cent and Chizoba got 3.94 per cent. Ben and Chizoba were evicted for getting the lowest votes.
