Nigerian legendary comedian Alibaba Akpobome has shared a shocking experience that has left many netizens talking.
In a recent interview with Pulse.ng, Alibaba revealed that he knows married women who pursue politicians and shared a personal anecdote that highlights his stance.
Alibaba revealed that he visited a prominent figure and witnessed a married woman emerge from the man's room. To his surprise, the man encouraged the woman to re-enter the room, hinting at an intimate relationship.
What made the encounter even more astonishing is that Alibaba later encountered the same woman with her actual husband, where she greeted him warmly, recalling that they have met in the past, only to thank him later on another event.
“I have been to the houses of big men, governors and all, and I see wives, I'm not kidding, wives of people that I know coming to do things and then we'll greet, and those guys will do all their philandering, tap her bum and say ‘c'mon go inside I'm not finished with you.’ and then she'll go back inside.
“And then I ran into her at an event in Lagos with her husband and he said, ‘meet my wife,” and I'll say “it's a pleasure, I have not seen you in nearly five years. Where have you been?”
“And she's like I've been around and then we'll continue to gist.”
“Maybe then she sees me somewhere else, she'll call me and say Ali thanks, and I'll say it's OK.”
The revelation has sparked different reactions from netizens, with many expressing their surprise and intrigue at the double lives some individuals lead, while some criticised the comedian for being an enabler.
