Trading cryptocurrencies is one of the most unpredictable and volatile ventures, involving risks that could lead to massive losses. But the risk could also lead to massive profits and riches. 

In the case of a certain crypto trader who decided to buy a largely unknown meme coin, Chill Guy (CHILLGUY), it was massive profits. The smart trader turned an initial investment of $865 into $6.4 million trading the meme coin, which surged by 511% in the past day. 

The meme coin, which was launched on the Solana network on November 15 as ‘Just a chill guy’ (CHILLGUY), pumped a massive 511% on November 20, making many of the traders who backed it from launch instant millionaires. 

According to Coinmarketcap data, at the time of writing, the CHILLGUY was trading at $0.3852, with a 24-hour trading volume of $714.44 million and a market cap of $405.32 million. 

Due to the massive pump, the meme coin trended in the global crypto community and has now shot into fame. 

The TikTok-themed character of the coin is not new. It was made years ago and recently went viral on TikTok, where numerous creators portrayed the Chill Guy character staying cool in a variety of risky situations.

When the CHILLGUY character went viral on TikTok, the market capitalisation of its look-alike memecoins pumped too. 

How chill guy (CHILLGUY) trader made $6.4 million with $865 

According to trading data and wallet transaction details revealed by Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain intelligence firm, the trader bought 16.024 million CHILLGUY worth about $865 on November 15.

In a post on X, Arkham Intelligence revealed the trader’s wallet address and showed that after the massive pump of November 20, the trader’s 16.024 million CHILLGUY was now worth some $6.4 million, making them an instant millionaire. 

Chill Guy meme creator threatens lawsuit

While the trader is expected to be among the happiest people in the world right now, the launchers of the CHILLGUY project may soon have a lawsuit to deal with. That is because the creator of the art used in the Chill Guy meme is threatening a lawsuit against meme coins that are using the image. 

The creator of the art has warned against its use for crypto-related endeavours. 

“Just putting it out there, chill guy has been copyrighted. Like, legally. I'll be issuing takedowns on for-profit related things over the next few days,” the creator posted on X

 How crypto influencer was kidnapped and killed

Meanwhile, TheRadar earlier reported that on November 13, authorities in Montreal, Canada, said the dead body of a crypto influencer identified as Kevin Mirshahi was recovered. Local media reports revealed that the body was found at Île-de-la-Visitation park in Montreal’s Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.

According to local media, The Gazette, a passerby discovered the decomposing body at the nature park around 10am on October 30. After the police were informed, an autopsy was conducted, and the body was identified as Kevin Mirshahi.
