The tech giant’s summer unpacked event on Wednesday, July 10, saw the launch of two new phones, the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, and three new wearables: earbuds, watches and the much-anticipated Galaxy Ring.
The Z Flip 6 is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and vapor chamber for better cooling. It comes with 12GB of RAM by default and a 4,000 mAh battery. The inner screen brightness is 2,600 nits and a 50 MP for the main camera.
Samsung has also introduced features like a camcorder mode and auto-zoom. The Z Fold 6 has a titanium frame, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a vapor chamber for heat management, and the same camera as the Z Flip 6.
Samsung has also introduced AI features, such as smart select and sketch-to-image, call assist, note assist, and transcription assist, etc.
Galaxy rings and Galaxy watch
The Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra were unveiled and the Watch Ultra is water-resistant up to 100 meters and is made from grade 4 titanium. The device has double pinch gesture controls and a battery life of up to 100 hours.
Samsung also launched the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro which features adaptive noise control and Siren Detect with enhanced two-way speakers with dual Amp. The Galaxy Buds 3 has an IP rating of 57. The Buds 3 are priced at $179, while the Buds 3 Pro cost $249. The Buds come in two types, Open and Canal types.
