Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has expressed his delight following his side’s hard-fought 2-1 victory against Real Sociedad in LaLiga on Saturday.
The match, held at the Reale Arena Stadium in Spain, saw goals from Mbappé and Arda Güler secure all three points for Xabi Alonso’s team, despite the setback of Dean Huijsen receiving a red card during the game.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Mbappé vowed to give his all for Los Blancos and praised the collective effort that contributed to the win.
“I want to give my all for this shirt. I scored a goal today, but the team is doing its utmost so I can play well,” the French international said, as quoted by Madrid Zone.
“The assist made me very happy and was very important, because we won with the second goal. The start of the season was very good for the team, and so was my start.”
Reflecting on Huijsen’s red card, Mbappé added: “The red card slightly changed the course of the match. We faced difficulties as a team, but we came back with the three points.”
Real Madrid’s victory maintains their strong position in the league as they continue to build momentum under Alonso’s management.
