Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen’s next destination is undoubtedly a hot topic as speculation surrounding the Nigerian striker’s future continues to swirl.

While the 26-year-old has been linked with Manchester United and Arsenal, Roma legend Roberto Pruzzo has made a stunning claim that Osimhen is already set to join Juventus in the summer.

Pruzzo, a former Serie A star who won the Scudetto with Roma in 1982-83, revealed in an interview that sources close to Osimhen’s camp had assured him of the move.

According to Pruzzo, a reliable insider had informed him in Florence that the Nigerian would be heading to Turin next season,

“I know that Juventus’ next striker will be Osimhen, a reliable source close to the Nigerian’s entourage revealed it to me in Florence. They are certain they will be going to Turin next year,” Pruzzo confidently stated.

Osimhen is currently contracted to Napoli but has spent the season on loan at Galatasaray after failed negotiations with PSG, Chelsea, and Al-Ahli last summer.

The forward had initially signed a contract extension with Napoli in 2023, which included a hefty €130m release clause. However, that figure is set to drop to €75m at the end of the season, making him a more affordable target for top European clubs.

Manchester United and Arsenal have both been heavily linked with Osimhen, with Arsenal reportedly willing to trigger his release clause. However, financial concerns might pose a challenge for United.

Former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson also recently claimed that United might not be able to match Osimhen’s high wage demands, potentially ruling them out of the race.

Despite the speculation, Osimhen has remained tight-lipped about his next move. However, with 22 goals and five assists in 28 appearances for Galatasaray this season, the Nigerian striker has proven his worth, making him one of the most sought-after forwards in the upcoming transfer window.

As the summer approaches, the battle for Osimhen’s signature is expected to become much more tense, but if Pruzzo’s claim holds true, Juventus may have already won the race for the Nigerian’s services.

Previously, TheRadar reported that Galatasaray was preparing to shake up the January transfer window with a not-so-surprising move for Nigeria’s star forward Victor Osimhen.

While Chelsea had long been linked with the 25-year-old striker, the Turkish champions are now looking to secure a permanent deal to keep Osimhen in Istanbul, a city where he has quickly won the hearts of fans.
